Or just for a great experience? This is the perfect exposure opportunity for you. Compete to be Miss Sturgis 2008. Sturgis Bike Week's peoples choice, online competition is about to begin. Miss Sturgis is Miss August and the eleven runner ups are the remaining 11 months of the "Girls of Sturgis Bike Week" calendar. 10,000 calendars will be produced with each month having a sponsor. Three girls will be chosen as finalists in a series of four eliminations. All finalists will be chosen by March 29, 2008. Miss Sturgis will be selected from the 12 finalists by April 19th, 2008.
What is in it for you?
1. Photographed as the lady of the month in the calendar. The lady who is chosen by the Glencoe Nation panel to be Miss Sturgis is August and also is on the cover of the calendar.
2. Own page on www.MissSturgis.com website including biography, pictures, video and link to MySpace page.
3. Sturgis Bike Week wardrobe to be worn during Sturgis Bike Week that the ladies may keep.
4. Assistance with lodging, if required
5. Two wristbands for Glencoe CampResort which grants access into Glencoe CampResort, all concerts at Rock'n the Rally and Thunder Road Bike Shows.
6. Each lady will be reimbursed for food/gas from KickStart up to $200.
7. Autograph and photo opportunities in front of the Sturgis Bike Week store on Main St.

8. Ladies may have the opportunity to travel with the Glencoe Nation staff to various bike shows throughout the year. Ladies sign the calendar for tips and also are paid a daily rate by Glencoe Nation. All travel expenses and lodging is paid for by Glencoe Nation.
Thunder Road/Rock’n the Rally Promotion
*1. Six autograph sessions at Thunder Road during Sturgis Bike Week, Aug. 3-8. Ladies present split the tips. Ladies are required to be at each session for 2 hours. After the 2 hours the ladies are not required to stay but may stay if they want to continue to sign the calendar for individual tips.
2. Stage appearances at Thunder Road during autograph sessions
3. Opportunity to be trophy girls for the Thunder Road bike shows
4. Speaking on the radio promoting the calendar signings during the radio remotes at Thunder Road. Ladies may travel on remotes with the stations and go to the stations to talk on the radio, if they wish to do so.
*5. One Autograph and promotional appearance at your sponsors location. This could be before or during the rally. Additional promotions to be negotiated with lady and her sponsor i.e reimbursement and details regarding promotion.
6. Employment opportunity as a beer tub girl at Rock'n the Rally during Sturgis Bike Week. Employment with Rock’n the Rally needs to be arranged prior to the start of the rally.
7. Radio promotions on four stations over a three month period. Ladies may go to the stations to speak about the competition if they wish to do so.

By entering into the Miss Sturgis contest you are agreeing to participate in the above mentioned promotion. If you are not available to be in Sturgis from Aug. 3-8, 2008, please do not enter. The winners will be required to come to Sturgis for a calendar photo session on or before June 30th. All entries must be 19 years old by Aug. 3, 2008 and show proof of ID and sign a contract prior to May 1.
Ladies may begin to enter now. Voting starts Feb. 4th, 3 finalists will be chosen by people's choice Feb. 16, March 1, 15, 29. Miss Sturgis will be chosen by the Glencoe Nation panel before April 19th.
